The Toledo Zoo

We took the kids to the Toledo Zoo on a Friday last month and it was perfect timing. The weather was warm but pleasant. It was the week after Labor Day so most kids were back to school allowing us to have the park to ourselves. The kids had a great time. On the way home Cole kept asking to play with his football. Now normally we would have a football at hand but on this particular day, we had cleaned out the car and left it at home. We kept telling Cole that his football was at home, but he insisted it was in his wagon. We never bothered to look because we knew there was no football. Well, once we got home Cole prooved us wrong. He lifted up the seat in the wagon and right there in the storage compartment was a red football with Toledo Zoo printed right on it. Yup, we obviously weren't paying attention and our 3 year old became a thief. They grow up so fast! Since then we have discussed stealing and the need to pay for things. I am not sure how much he understood, but we will definitely be watching him more closely in stores.

You know Kelly, this whole blog thing is kind of funny. I have my own blog with stories and pictures of the kids for people to see, but I think you are the only one looking at it and I already talk to you everyday. Kind of silly, I guess.

I swear I am not the only one looking! You would be surprised. And lately we have not been talking everyday because you won't pick your phone up in the morning!

Kim,
I check in every now and then to take a look at those adorable children! This is my chance to see that new little girl. So...yes you do have others checking in. Keep the pictures coming.

Dad,
