A couple weeks ago I decided to take the kids to Applewood. They had fun looking at animals and various displays, doing crafts, tasting different treats, and walking (or should I say running) the grounds. We came to a water garden filled with lily pads and different sorts of plant life. In the center of this garden was a statue of a frog spitting water which really intrigued Cole. Not realizing that there was water under the plant life, he stepped right into the pond and went completely under. It was about 50 degrees out this September morning and needless to say, Cole was scared and freezing. Thanks to all the onlookers who generously donated various pieces of dry clothing. Everything was too big, but Cole was warm. In the picture below you can see the large wet spot on the cement to the left of the pond where I pulled Cole out. Afterwards he said, "Mom, why did I do that? That water is cold!"

I LOVE that picture of Cole with all of those big clothes on. He is so sweet.
