Happy Birthday Brooklyn

Today was Brooklyn's first birthday. She enjoyed opening her gifts and obviously loved her birthday cake (made by her Grandma Lange). She has been such a blessing to our family and was a perfect Mother's Day gift.

I sure wish I could have been there! I was going to call you, but decided not to interrupt the party. Did you give Brooklyn a hair cut? It looks shorter. I like the outfit you wore today and of course Brookie's dress is adorable! I'm glad she changed before she dove into that cake. She sure seemed to enjoy it!

Kim,
You been fakin bakin? Or is that color from Florida? Also, the 5th pick you put up with Brooklyn and the cake, before the mess. Yeah, I think that picture is going to end up being a classic when she gets older. You can't quite tell what she's thinking but it looks something like "what do you think you're doing?" As she gets older I bet that look will be seen again and we'll find out what she means by it.

Kelly- I did not give Brooklyn a haircut, it was just combed back. It is getting long enough to get in her eyes but not quite thick enough to hold a hair clip. She loved the cake. We had a lot of fun watching her.
Korey- NO, I am not fake bakin! The sun is so bad for you and I am very protective of my skin. I barely got any color while I was in Flordia. But I will admit to using a sunless tanning spray so I don't look so ghostly pale. That one picture is quite funny. I thought her expression was saying, "and what am I suppose to do with this thing?" As you can see, she figured it out.
