The stone work is done. I love our pillars. My cousin's husband, Shawn, is doing the brick work and is doing a great job. I am excited to see the finished product.

The dry wall is now done and it is time to paint. Every step gets me more and more excited! This is our great room with the fireplace on the inside wall. Our windows overlook a little meadow and some woods. The setting is so peaceful and just beautiful. I can't wait to call this place home.

This is part of the master bath. Our tub will go under this arch in front of the window (which is frosted).

This is the bonus room. It is a gigantic room above the garage that will be the kids playroom. We have big plans for this room.

This is just another angle of the great room looking towards the front door. In the back right corner is the open staircase going down to the basement. The doorway to the right of the front door leads into the den. We will eventually have french doors there. This week the walls will be primed and the floor work (tile and hardwood) will begin. This has been so much fun!

Kim,
Your house is coming along nicely. I, too, really like the brick pillars. What is your fireplace going to look like? It was nice to see you & your family again.
Cathy,
Thanks again for having us over to your house last weekend. It is nice to meet all of Kelly and Ben's friends in person after hearing so much about them and reading their blogs. They have some great friends and church family! Our fireplace is going to have a granite face and white moldings and things (hard to explain, but I will definitely post a picture when it is done) and there will be built in bookcases on both sides of it.
ohhhh my dream house will have built in book shelves. Your house is going to be gorgeous. Is your husband a builder? I forgot to ask what he did.
You have more than walls now, so post some pictures!
Yeah!!! What she said!
